Additional Software Database
Policy
At the sole discretion of
Manufacturing Information Systems, Inc., you may be granted a license to
create one or more additional Software Databases provided that you have
installed and are using this software in compliance with the MISys End User License Agreement.
Additional database licenses may
be granted to companies who have a legitimate need to segregate the
items, orders, and history records for one product line from that of
another. The databases must be maintained on the same physical computer
file server, accessed from the same computer workstations, and all MISys
software components must be contained within a common physical
structure.
Manufacturing Information
Systems, Inc. uses the information contained in the ACCPAC Advantage
Series Common Services application Company Profile as a primary
indicator of the qualification for additional databases. In order to
operate within the terms of the MISys EULA, the Company Profile for each
company database must be identical. Different company names or different
company addresses is a clear indicator of disqualification.
The MISys EULA does not recognize
common ownership. That is, additional database licenses will not be
granted to companies on the basis of common corporate ownership of
multiple subsidiaries, divisions, or physical manufacturing plants.
Under the terms of the MISys EULA, each would need its own MISys
Manufacturing System license.
For additional information about
obtaining an Additional Software Database License, please contact the
MISys Sales Office at 802/457-4600.
